Activities planned for the Truck Show
  • Vintage trucks and equipment from Vancouver Island, the Mainland and Washington, including many 'Hayes' and "Hayes-Anderson"
  • Parade of old trucks
  • Shuttle to the Annual Salmon Festival & BBQ
  • Log dump into the Mill pond
  • Lots of photo ops in an antique sawmill setting
  • Steam train twice a day from Port Alberni out to the Mill
  • High-lead steam logging demonstrations (only working steam donkey in the Pacific Northwest)
  • Steam sawmill demo twice a day
  • Old-time logging artist on site
  • Comox Logging & Railway' historian, Richard Mackie, will be selling his books on site
  • Toy truck play area for children
